Player's Perspective Gaming

Well, obviously you have to have some kinda curiosity about me if you're here.

I grew up in Michigan, where I still live. Sure, I hate the weather, but moving anywhere else where there wouldn't be snow would just seem weird. Obviously I like gaming. Yes, I know. Big Shocker. But when there is around 2 feet of snow on the ground (minimum) nearly half the year and counting, what else is there to do?

I have played many games since I started out as a child when I stumbled across a Atari 2600 in my basement. Once I had it hooked up, I played until my thumbs bled at 5 am...on a school night. Oh I know, HORRIBLE! Until later, that Atari soon evolved into a Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64 and so on and so forth, with all the current hand-helds in tow as well.

I work at a local college in Kalamazoo, MI. No big deal, yet, I have the greatest friends people can ask for, and a wonderful girlfriend who is everything I could ever want and more.

My goals in life is to succeed. Sure, a lot of people set EXACT goals or are more precise in thinking of them, but mine are quite simplistic. I just want to succeed where others thought that I would fail. Whether it is in the line of Information Technologies or in Writing, Editing and Reporting.
